With prayers,
Geshe Zopa
Dear students and friends of Tenzin Phuntsok Rinpoche,
“Tashi Delek and prayers to all from Phuntsok Rinpoche”.
having some fun time on his birthday on Oct 28.

To all students and friends of the late Great Mahasiddha Geshe lama Konchog,
Phuntsok Labrang.
This video was shot by Phuntsok Rinpoche’s personal guardian and manager, Ven Lhundup sometime in April 2008 to update me on his progress. I found it extremely refreshing, entertaining and interesting and I am sure all who love Phuntsok Rinpoche would want to see this video. The video was shot candidly without any editing or subtitle, in order to give all of you to see what he is doing. You will also be happy to know that he has started his language study. I have decided to share this wonderful video clip with all you readers and I hope you will enjoy it.
[This video footage was given to us approximately 2 months ago for uploading but due to incompatibility in format, it took us a while to convert from dvd to mpeg.
We apologize for the delay and we hope you enjoy them as we did. ]
Few days ago I got a chance to speak to Phuntsok Rinpoche just before my brother Lhundrup left for
Phuntsok Rinpoche asked me about my health and if I am eating a lot and whether I have gain much weight in order to compete with him.
I also asked about his schooling (language) which started few months ago in Kopan. Phuntsok Rinpoche replied that he has been very happy and enjoyed his lessons. He has completed his homework and he received good comment from his teacher. He wanted to know what I will be rewarding him for his good performance. I told him I have just sent him a very interesting car and that he can only play on Saturdays. He however requested to play the car on the second half of the day as well. My reply was “yes”, as long as he has done his homework, he can play with the car anytime. I have also promised to bring him a helicopter after I see the end of his one year result. He said he will not disappoint me and asked when I will be going back. My answer was “soon”.
He then said “tashi delek” and “be fat” before he hung up.
I am extremely pleased to hear he’s doing great and he has improved in this studies as well. I am also very grateful with the divine blessings and also very thankful to the great care and proper guidance given by Khen Rinpoche as well as his guardian Thubten Lhundrup, Ani Chodron and Nyudrup Tsering.
About one week ago, I called Phuntsok Rinpoche and somehow he was the one pick up the phone. Naturally he asked who I was and my reply to him was “I am your great uncle”. Then I continued to ask him “Do you remember I have plans to test you on some of the prayers I requested you to memorize? I will test you when I see you next time”. Phuntsok Rinpoche then replied “I will do the test now but do you remember what you promise to give me if I pass the test? You promise to give me a toy car.” “Toy car? I thought you were joking” was what I said to him.
