Tashi Delek,

Tibetan Sakadawa "Vesak" ... the morning of May 27 starts with Tsum Rachen Nunnery and Mu Monastery sanghas going into many sets of very strict Compassionate Buddha Chenrezig Nyung Na (fasting) retreat.

This great, secret and powerful retreat will be dedicated for all beings to be free from all samsaric sufferings and especially to the recent earthquake in Qinghai - Yushu victims who have passed on and those suffering, to have instant liberation from all sufferings and gain enlightenment.

This retreat is also dedicated to repay the kindness of all the Gurus, namely His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche, Khenrinpoche Geshe Lundrup Rigsel, Dagri Rinpoche, Tenzin Phuntsok Rinpoche, Drukpa Rinpoche, all my kind teachers and all the beings whose lives are beneficial to the world’s peace and happiness. May they have a very long and healthy life and all their holy wishes be fulfilled instantly.

This list goes on for the purpose of repaying the kindness of all the Tsum benefactors, supporters and volunteers to also have a long, long, long, healthy, happy, successful, meaningful life and for all their wishes to be fulfilled immediately. Dedication of this great and powerful retreat for the purpose of purifying of pass karma and accumulation of extensive merits is also extended to all their family members who are ill and in severe pain, free from all samsaric karma and gain liberation/enlightenment instantly within this life time. Names of these people are not mentioned here due to respect for their privacy but their names are read out daily in the monastery and all retreats.

I also like to dedicate this great retreat to establish and actualize the Chenrezig 100,000 Nyung Na retreat temple building project which started 2months ago, to actualize without any obstacles and may it be accomplished according to the holy vision of our kind gurus, to bring immense of benefit to the preservation of Buddha Dharma, peace and happiness for all beings in the world.
